The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
To be honest, I didn't expect much from this one, but I am very positively surprised! It is very elegant, smooth and balanced with main notes of wood, vanilla and tonka beans. These are enriched by a very nice sour-fruity part on the palate. The only thing that puts me off a bit is the bitterness which builds up with each sip. I was happy to taste no dosage, so the rum itself is on the spotlight and I must say, it's worth it! Yes, it's nothing that would completely blow my mind, hence the rating of 7.9, but still I have a very high opinion of this rum.
