Très bon (marqueur bielle assez perturbant)! Par contre 45° trop peu, suffit qu’on le laisse un peu trop longtemps pour que ça passe d’un très bon rhum à quelque chose de « classique ».

I‘m getting intense cherry notes with this one. A little low on ABV, doesn’t feel too much watered down however. Quite nice.

RumX Advent calendar, 13.12.2021, blind. First impression on the nose tells me something with red wine, possibly a finish? Otherwise hay, candied orange peel and fruit bread, among other things. Smells quite sweet. Also sweet on the palate at first, but then suddenly turns dry. Unfortunately a little thin. I would guess that this is a rum made from sugar cane juice, approx. 45%. The late palate and finish are surprisingly floral with notes of violets. Good, but unfortunately too thin, otherwise even more exciting.

RumXmas #13, blind: Warm honey like sweetness, sugar cane and wood in the nose, grassy notes and dry (grappa) agricole in the mouth with a little bit of heath. The alcohol is integrated very well and a bitter finish. Going with agricole, maybe Saint James 🤷‍♂️ Pretty satisfied with my guess 🥳

08.12.2018 Had a wonderful meet up with old and new friends at this wonderful hotel. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: wood, Agricole, orange, sugarcane, light chocolate. Palate: oily, wood, Agricole, balanced, spicy, fruits, orange. Finish: medium to long, wood, medium dry, fruity.

Oh man, zum Glück den richtigen Rum erwischt:) Schöner Agricole, viel Agricole und Holz in der Nase. Am Gaumen natürlich auch sehr Agricolelastig, ansonsten noch nach dunkler Schokolade und Vanille schmecken:)

Tag 13 RumX Adventskalender: grasig, süßlich, leicht fruchtig und weich. Mein Tipp war Agricole unter 50 %. Mal richtig gelegen.

Nez très plaisant qui fait penser à un jamaïcain… Un côté Funkie avec de la pâte d’amande et une banane flambée. Après longue aération plus oxydatif on sent un peu un fût de xérès ou PX. En bouche c’est assez fin, droit et sec, on retrouve les marqueurs du nez mais c’est moins rond et lourd que l’esprit jamaïcain pourtant les marqueurs demeurent. Au final il reste l’amande amère, une fin de bouche sur l’amaretto et puis une petite touche saline.

It’s a nice, smooth, subtle and complex Agricole from nose via palate to the medium long finish. The nose have recognizable aromas of spices, vanilla, oak and fruits. At the palate and during the medium long finish the aromas comes back as flavors.

Quick a good rum, but lacks at the finish. Alcohol is intergrated very well. Nose: sugarcane, vanilla, grass, young wood Mouth: Dry, creamy, delicious, grass, agricole, earthy, dark chocolate, cherry, vanilla, young wood Finish: short, dry, soft, earthy, herbal, vegetal, black tea, young wood, vanilla

Leckerer, entspannter Agricole.

You have to really concentrate to get to the delicate aromas.

Un karukera sympa, un nez de vanille, bois et épices. En bouche, on trouve un côté herbasé sucré, sur un fond de chêne. Dommage que la fin ne soit pas plus longue et complexe. Seconde dégustion : encore ce nez de vanille , bois….. par contre, cette fois en bouche, b y trouve un peu plus de goût de fût et un rhum ou l alcool y est moyennement intégré…./ c est bon malgré tout !

13. Sample aus dem RX-Kalender. Dominante Noten von Gras, Jungem Holz, Leder, Pflanzen, Erde und Gewürzen. Sehr trocken am Gaumen. Bitternoten im Abgang.
