Trinidad is an 8-year-old rum crafted from molasses at the T.D.L distillery and bottled by Compagnie des Indes. Its aroma blends fresh eucalyptus, woody tones, and hints of peaches and grapes, while the palate reveals peppery spice, subtle menthol, and warm raisin notes. Compagnie des Indes is a great success. On the nose: wood and freshness On the palate: spices, pepper and grapes are added, with a long finish. A fine tasting.
Brussels Rhum Festival 15/03/2025 Low ABV easy drinking Trinidad. Nice sipper. Candy like nose.
15/03/25: tasted @ Brussels Rhum Festival. I always like it when you get a fresh, minty nose from a TDL. Too bad it's only 43%. It makes it an easy sipper, but higher ABV might have improved the score.
Degusté au Spirits Days à Tournai, notes rapides : Nez : cassic, eucalyptus, ca promet et c'est très marqué pour 8 ans a 43%. Bouche : sur la meme trame, MAIS par contre la ca manque de peps. Bref : un trinidad jeune mais savoureux, qui manque un peu de peps, trop réduit pour moi. Belle porte d'entrée cela dit. 70€ bon...
