Während man in der Nase noch Rote Früchte, meines Erachtens vor allem Kirsche erkennen kann änder sich dies im Gaumen komplett. Keinerlei Fruchtaromen, sondern Fass, Nuss und Karamell, mit leichten Zimtnotem prägen das Bild. Im Abgang hält die Nuss sehr lange nach. Insgesamt wirkt der Rum spiced und bei genauerer Betrachtung etwas künstlich aufgesüßt.
Influence of the Whisky cask is very strong. Might be a good gateway for whisky lovers into rum. Otherwise I don’t see much use in this personally.
On the nose I have a dry, woody rum. On the tongue, there's a lot of ..... fruit, light sweetness and some wood. There is a fruity, woody hint of Foursquare here .... A good rum for beginners and a social gathering without great expectations.
