How does this rum taste?
RumX members praise this Savanna Unshared Cask for its well‑integrated Port influence and vibrant fruit. Expect cherry and red berries alongside ripe pineapple over controlled, Savannesque wood and a gently dry, spicy edge. Several note an oily, round palate with a long, warm finish. Limited to 975 bottles and highly discussed by 44 reviewers with rising confidence, it’s a distinctive agricole the community recommends for its fruit-forward, woody balance.

#4925 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Medium intense, light wood, fruity, light berries, cherry, light vegetal, round. Palate Balanced, oily, round, light wood, light roasted, light spicy, pineapple, light cherry, medium dry, light berries. Finish Long and warm, light wood, light citrus, light strawberry, round, faint earthy, oily. This is a very good release and I had to try it a few times just because that is what you can do at the WL 😊
A rum tasted at Whisky Live in Paris in 2024. A vegetal nose with dry herbs, controlled oak and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied, with the same aromas and a predominance of dried fruit on the herbal/woody side. Here too, the woodiness is under control. The finish is a little dry, with dried herbs and wood, which is not the best effect and detracts from the note. Otherwise a very good rum.
Whisky Live Paris 2024 (trade fair evaluation, only overall rating and personal recommendation to buy): Very tasty, I liked it very much. Would have liked a bottle of it.
