How does this rum taste?
Ronrico Gold Label 1960s is a Puerto Rican rum crafted from molasses in a column still, boasting a bold 43% ABV. Its aroma blends vanilla, sweet burnt sugar, caramel, and young wood, while the palate delivers warm notes of caramel, barrel, vanilla, and leather. Our RumX community praises its solid, approachable profile—ideal for sipping neat or mixing into cocktails like the Cuba Libre—even though some feel it lacks layered complexity.

Puerto Rico Tasting: This is a rather pleasent and straightforward Rum. the typical bourbon cask with some leather and wood. Daiquiri: Uncomplicated, yet complex, easy sipping at its best, i would drown an evening down with this 5/5 Stars
6,3:On the nose, this one feels better, with burnt sugar, sweet, roasted wood gives us also a caramel, spicy vanilla, pastry, leather, as a molasses brings some tobacco, there are yellow fruits. 6,7:On the palate, quite pleasant attack with roasted wood notes as burnt sugar, caramel, spicy vanilla, dry and quite round, with leather and tobacco, yellow fruits and a bit mineral. 6,4:The finish is medium long, dry with spicy and roasted wood notes, tobacco and yellow fruits..
