“I always love when there is a Caroni in the tasting and this one was no exception. The nose is typical Caroni with tar and rubber in the woodiness. Fruits, vanilla and licorice compliment the overall nose. The oily palate takes off where the nose finishes, and the tarry rubber, wood is very well balanced with the fruit and vanilla. The finish is very long and woody with rubber, tropical fruits and vanilla.”

“Quelle claque! Je comprends enfin la légende de Caroni grâce à cette bouteille! Il restait quelques centilitres et donc le rum a eu le temps de s’aérer. Bubble gum au nez avec des esthers et de fruits confits. Milieu de bouche facile puis le fameux goudron et tube à bicyclette. Bu chez Dram 242 avec Sven de Premium Spirits.”
