To Hampden
"A rum tasted at Whisky Live in Paris in 2024. A powerful pineapple nose, with light wood and esters. The pineapple is also very pronounced on the palate, but with freshness and elegant wood. The finish is short. A delicious rum, but difficult to rate. Should we note the pleasure it offers (great) or its (lack of) originality?"
"Whisky Live Paris 2024 (trade fair evaluation, only overall rating and personal recommendation to buy): Overall still the best bottling of the second magnum series, but not outstanding. I don't have to have a bottle of it."
