The "Alex Webb Edition LROK" from Hampden distillery is a 2010 Jamaican rum, aged for 13 years and selected by Velier. Its commanding 60% ABV is well-integrated, inviting connoisseurs to explore its full-bodied and estery profile. "#4848 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light, light wood, fruity, light mint, light banana, floral, faint chocolate. Palate Round, medium dry, light wood, faint roasted, fruity, faint smoke, light floral, light prunes, anise. Finish Long, light wood, fruits, light floral, light dried fruit, light sugarcane, faint glue, faint chocolate. Also a pretty average Velier release where the price tag will outperform the quality."
