The "High Proof HJF" was produced in Jamaica at the Hampden distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Old Brothers. It was distilled in 2008 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 15 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 76,4% and the mark is HJF. W💥W I really liked the first release HJF by Old Brothers. This one goes one better . Full pipe tropical... Pineapple papaya banana passion fruit. In addition, fruit esters that are only found in tropically matured Hampden ... incredibly round and almost sweet for the alcohol content. Of course, you can clearly feel the alcohol in the mouth... but it creates real fireworks on the palate. A wonderfully complex rum that you should spend a lot of time with. In Mai Tai Brutal a good 5/5 ... although I actually like it better neat. Unfortunately, the price is beyond good and evil.....
