Made in a very small distillery Ardeche France. High ester. Organic Cuban molasses. Fermented for 3 weeks+ in a Pommard Bourgogne foudre. Interesting. Nose:: classic high ester. Funk. Fermented tropical fruits. Light. Dry. Balanced. Creamy. Very nice. Taste: lighter funk. Spirity. Chlorid. Lighter/milder/thinner than expected. Maybe they should have upped the 46%. All in all a bit safer than the nose suggests. But gets better with time and air. Gentle even. Good spirit though. Easy to drink. Got a whole bottle of it + the aged version. So will try again soon.
