A beatifully delicious rum with a good price. I god a very slight menthol oil note on the palette which was very nice and interesting

I didn't expect liking it this much. Sort of reminds me of a Bellevue 1998, again very Agricoly. Fresh but plenty of spices. Warm and round. A bit like coughing syrop (thyme and eucalyptus). That last one hits harder in taste than in the nose. Add some peaches (ripe flat ones) and a bit of kiwi to the mix. Really pleasant. If only this was 50% instead of 40%. Bang For Your Buck!!!

Wow ! Le petit New Grove a 50€ en mode TDL 2000. J’adore ! Ça manque un poil de longueur et d’intensité mais les fruits sont la, superbe menthol, des épices, du bois. C’est vraiment un must have et je suis sûr d’en reprendre une fois la bouteille vide. Pas cher et ultra efficace !

A rum tasted at Rhum Fest in 2024. A nose of citrus peel, unripe fruit and bitterness. A slightly monolithic palate of citrus fruits. The finish develops a slight acidity. An interesting rum, but not exciting either.

17.10.2022 Going through samples at home. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, cherry, dried fruit, light nutts, light metallic. Palate Light wood, faint medicinal fruits, light cherry, dried fruit, light medicinal, light metallic, naturally sweet. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruits, light mango, spice, light vegetal.

Mit guten Freunden nach längerer Zeit mal wieder verkostet. Typisches New-Grove Profil, welches ich sehr mag, jedoch manche auch als störend empfinde. Nicht besonders anspruchsvoll zum trinken, ein guter Rum für den Alltag

Au nez pomme, pruneau, un peu de solvant dans le style WP, un côté liquoreux aussi sans doute l'influence de la partie viellie en fût de cognac de l'assemblage. En bouche un peu de bois, toujours ce côté fruité frais avec des notes de pomme anisée et un côté mentholé qui reste en final. Un rhum lèger mais avec une identité bien marquée. Je l'aime beaucoup. Beaucoup d'originalité et je parle même pas du prix ... 🥳

Found in a small store in the country for 39 euros. For this it is a super PLV. Could use a little more power and does not come to the last CDI of Perola ran, but for the money really neat. Fruit and caramel wrapped in menthol, eucalyptus and leather. Like a fruity cooling spray. That's what I like about the Grays in general and here's a small piece of it at a very reasonable price

super fruchtig & würzig wie geiler Pfirsich Eistee! Mit mehr Alkohol könnte dieser noch deutlich mehr Aromen Freisetzen, durch die Verdünnung wirkt er leider etwas dünn ist aber dennoch eine wahre Aromenbombe und ein schöner Einstiegs Mauritius Rum! Sehr lecker und top PLV.

Already typical New Grove with orange/mint notes, but unfortunately very thin and therefore flat.

Un rhum clairement dominé par les notes fraîches, épicées et une belle rondeur, du nez à la finale. Le nez est flatteur, rond et frais. En bouche, le boisé épicé est très fin. La finale, moyenne laisse une impression de fraîcheur.
