How does this rum taste?
What most reviewers appreciate about Malteco 10 Years is its smooth vanilla and caramel profile, creating a sweet and soft sipping experience. Notes of roasted sugar and subtle fruit are also frequent mentions, with buyers noting it works well both neat and mixed, especially in cocktails like Cuba Libre. Its approachable nature and appealing price-to-quality ratio make it a go-to choice for those exploring sweeter, lighter rums or seeking a reliable value buy.

Drunk naturally neat...discreet on the nose with slight sweetness, also pleasant sweetness on the palate with a pleasant spiciness that does not seem alcoholic. Good spice with stronger chocolate facets, rather less fruity, slightly oily. The 15-year-old Malteco is still a tad better, but for the price top. Definitely a buy recommendation as well as for beginners as well as advanced!!! Super price / performance.
Karamell Pflaumen In der Nase holzig Kurzer Abgang etwas würzig wenig süße Der 15er ist deutlich komplexer
