Clarendon Flensburg Rum Company EMB (Special Bottling for 13th German Rumfest) EMB
A robust rum with tropical fruit notes and a distinct alcohol heat. Esteemed for its aromatic complexity, but criticized for harshness and unbalanced flavors.
Complex, strong, but unbalanced tropical rum.

The Flensburg Rum Company EMB (Special Bottling for the 13th German Rumfest) emanates from the renowned Clarendon distillery in Jamaica. Distilled in 2009 and aged for 9 years, this limited release offers only 140 bottles and boasts a hefty ABV of 65.1%. The rum presents a complex nose with red fruits, glue, esters, and tropical fruit notes. On the palate, it shows intense red fruits, a hot alcoholic bite, and nuances of roasted and barrel flavors.
"Finish does some good work on the nose plenty of fruits"
"Great nose. The tropical maturation brings in a great intensity. Unfortunately quite beastly on the palate."
