How does this rum taste?
S.B.S Belize 2011, distilled at Travellers and aged 12 years, greets the nose with gentle vanilla, caramel, woody, and coffee undertones—'a fresh, light wood and vanilla' experience, as one RumX member puts it. On the palate, expect a rounded mix where caramel and subtle fruit meet light orange peel and warming spice. While some users note it's 'a decent, reliable rum,' others sought more complexity. Its clean, easy-drinking profile is for those who crave a smooth, softly spiced Belizean rum. Explore or pick up a bottle through RumX, the community’s trusted home for fine spirits.

I don't know, but somehow Belize's profile doesn't really appeal to me. With this one, I think you forget as soon as you've swallowed it that it's very fleeting. Nothing I need right now
#5262 19.04.2025 Enjoying some samples while watching the TV series Grimm. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint roasted, vanilla, light earthy, light orange, faint caramel,. Palate Light oily, faint tobacco, light wood, light orange, light caramel, spice, faint coconut, faint chocolate. Finish Medium to long,, fresh, light oily, light wood, faint roasted, light chocolate, light dried fruit. Empty glass Vanilla, chocolate, light caramel, faint orange.
Alcohol well integrated, nice and round overall, but lacking in complexity. Rather short finish.
