How does this rum taste?
S.B.S Barbados from Foursquare leans into a familiar Barbados profile with prominent vanilla, woody spice, and coconut notes, all wrapped up in a subtle port finish. RumX users repeatedly note its "typická vůně FQ" (@Richard Krupa) and praise the balanced integration of alcohol. While tropical fruit and gentle chocolate weave through the palate, the port cask brings a hint of sweet, dried fruit. "Port Finish ist gut eingebunden, Alkohol auch!" says @Johannes. Some find a touch of tobacco-earthiness beneath the sweetness, keeping it interesting if not revolutionary.

Typical Foursquare aroma, subtly enriched by the finish. Flavour-wise, it's also an easily recognisable FS and a very approachable piece thanks to the smaller abv and probably the port finish. An honest rum and thanks to the 52% it might even be more approachable than the 60%+ version.
Port finish is well integrated, alcohol too! I like it very much!
