Great unaged rum. Vegetal, grassy in the nose. Very agricole-y yet molasses based. Taste: very fruity. Cherry & tropical fruits. Different from the smell. For a 43% and white rum very flavourful and balanced.
In smell typical agricole, fresh, sugarcane with a bit of herbs In taste is super clear, no alcohol at all, fresh, with subtle sweetness. It has fruits, and vegetal notes going, a bit of grass and sugar cane. Definitely more fruits than vegetables or plant. Finish is more vegetal with bitterness Good rum, but it is very subtle. Definitely not for mixing, because it will be gone in any cocktail. I think it is excellent rum for beginners in unaged agriocole rum category
I have never tasted a light rum this flavourful in my life and probably never will again. Tasting notes include nuts of plenty , cherry's and vanilla ... A rum that is designed to transform your cocktail but also sits perfectly well on its own with some ice ... The story behind the rum is great but the tasting is the best part and hats of to the producers of this devine product. The only reason it's not a 10 is the price point of it but it is there to compete with your mid range rums ..
