The "Planteray Barbados High Ester (Hot Sauce Finish)" was produced in Barbados at the West Indies distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Maison Ferrand. It was distilled in 2022 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 1 years. The rum has an ABV of 49,5%. This is a limited release and there are only 300 bottles. 15 community members rated this rum with an average of 7.4/10. The rum smells like Ester, Chili and Vinegar, and on the palate there is Peppery, Ester and Chili.

Für mich wohl eine der größten Enttäuschungen die bis dato an finishes für rum gemacht wurden. Da kann ich auch gleich Tabasco trinken und danach einen x beliebigen shot Rum. Schmeckt primär nach Essig, chili und grünen eingelegten Pepperoni's. Der Rum ist quasi kaum vorhanden und gibt nur Alkohol sensorisch mit...
Krasses Experiment! High Ester Barbados trifft auf Chili. Initial schmeckt man deutlich diesen fruchtig-erdbeerigen High-Ester-Rum, kurz darauf kommt eine deutliche Schärfe, die lange auf der Zunge bleibt.
