"#4894 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint roasted, peat, faint smoke, fruity, spice, light nutty, light caramel. Palate Oily, light wood, light roasted, peat, light smoke, light nutts, light caramel, faint orange, light plum. Finish Medium to long, light roasted wood, light peat, light smoke, light caramel, oily, light orange, faint prunes. This is a really nice example of a peated finish that for me works really well. I think it will split waters and many will disagree with me."

"Another whisky finish that completely masks the base spirit. You can't even taste whether the rum was produced from molasses or sugar cane."

"Hodne zajímavý rum. Kdyby mi ho někdo nalil ve slepé tak budu hádat čistou whisky a jestli nejsem úplně mimo tak jemností a chutí mi připomíná La Gavulin 16y. Rum sem koupil na aukci za hezký peníz, a tak cena/výkon je fajn."
