Savanna Rhum Vieux Traditionnel
Most enjoy its balanced wood‑fruit profile, dryness and surprising complexity at low ABV. Critics find it thin, slightly sharp and glue/solvent‑leaning. Consensus: a solid, characterful mid-range Savanna.
Curious explorers who like drier, oak-driven rums with yellow fruits and a light agricole-style edge, and want easy 43% sipping that still offers some complexity.

How does this rum taste?
Dry, woody, surprisingly complex Savanna
If you enjoy balanced, slightly dry aged rums like mid-age agricoles or lighter column rums, this is a natural next Savanna step with more character without the high-ester punch.
Those wanting sweet, thick sippers or high-ester funk bombs, and drinkers who are sensitive to slight solvent or alcohol sharpness in drier profiles.

Tasting on a campside in the south of French Nose: pretty classical balanced traditional Savannah. Agricolish. Yellow fruits. Mild wood. Cognac. Vanilla. Bit of glue. Good. Taste: starts great too. Honey sweetness. Dry. Sugarcane. Something floral, chamomille. And something I recognise but can't put my finger on. Still delicious. The 43% is perfect...but hey first dram of the day. Twas 35°C today. All in all a very likable rum from reunion. Complex enough to outshine most in this category.
Rhum moyen avec un nez très marqué sur le produit solvant ou colle en bâton. Peu d’arôme mis tertiaires en bouche. Assez déçu pour un vieillissement de 7 ans.
We had a great tasting today and here are the results.
Eleganter Rum, 7 Jahre, aus la reunion, etwas holzig und würzig mit Trockenpflaume Note. Sehr langer komplexer Abgang mit einer leichten Rauch Note
