Fans of unique profiles find this Mexican single cask standout for its bold herbal and vegetal character, with many reviewers linking the flavor to mountain herb liqueurs or even a tequila-rum hybrid.
Something really crazy here at the start. Tastes like a rum-tequila hybrid. Young but nicely matured. Alcohol comes through clearly, but is well embedded for 68.9%. Will it work in a daiquiri?
Here are the three different Mexican rums in a glass that BananaJoe found wherever. Unfortunately no unicorns, which was to be expected. My conclusion, nice to have tried something like this, but unfortunately nothing more.
