How does this rum taste?
Brut d’Amphore (Pure Canne Bio) from Baie des Trésors in Martinique delivers an expressive nose that leans heavily into fresh sugarcane, floral perfume, and mineral notes, as noted by @crazyforgoodbooze: "parfümiert, mineralisch fruchtig und lecker". The mouthfeel veers more towards minerality and vegetal with a lemon-peel edge, and while the palate is nuanced, some miss the nose's sweetness—"Dommage que l’on ne retrouve pas cette gourmandise au palais" (@Mc Pirate). Despite its high ABV, most agree the alcohol feels surprisingly well integrated, giving this agricole a warming yet approachable finish.

Palate Round, balanced, fresh, oily, fruits, light sugarcane, light citrus, floral, faint grass. Finish Long and warm, oily, balanced, fresh, fruits, light citrus, floral. Empty glass Minerals, floral, citrus, light vegetal. ABV is pretty well integrated and a very smooth sipper considering the 71.2%.
Great new cask strength Rhum Blanc with 9 months maturation in ceramics. Aromatically very flowery, perfumed, mineral, fruity and delicious. Alcohol surprisingly well integrated and an incredibly elegant nose!
GRF13 Mineralisch und pflanzlich. Tolle Nase
Nez exceptionnel de fruits frais, canne à sucre fraîche et une gourmandise sur le sucre de pâtisserie ! Bouche plus nuancée avec une attaque sur le mineral, limite pierre à fusil. Légèrement amer ou peut-être sur l’olive. Dommage que l’on ne retrouve pas cette gourmandise au palais. En revanche, les 71,2 degrés passent très très bien ! J’adore. Finale chaleureuse et très végétale.
