It was distilled in 2010 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 14 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 57,7%. #4756 22.06.2024 Nice tasting afternoon and evening with Hannes at the shop in Odense. Nose Fresh, light wood, mint, plum, light medicinal, faint grass, spice. Palate Oily, fresh, balanced, anise, light wood, faint roasted, plum, iodine, light grass, faint leather. Finish Medium to long, wood, light leather, prunes, anise, faint herbal.
Good, typical port mourant notes. Pencil shavings, liquorice and heather. Not a standout but definitely value for money.
