How does this rum taste?
The No. 45 SV Rum is a limited release from Nobilis Rum, distilled at Guyana's Diamond distillery. Crafted from molasses using a column still and aged for 19 years, it boasts a powerful 61.2% ABV. This rum offers a complex aroma dominated by chocolate, wood, and red fruits. The flavor profile combines dried fruit, molasses, and woody notes with hints of roasted apricot. Despite its high strength, many appreciate its rich, balanced character typical of aged Demerara rums. However, some note its bitter edge and somewhat prominent alcohol, characteristic of classic Diamond expressions.

Velmi dobrá Guyana! Ta barva je extrémně tmavá. V chuti sušené ovoce, datle, švestky, oříšky, čokoláda, dřevo. Moc kdobře integrovaný alkohol.
Sowohl an der Nase als auch am Gaumen ziemlich schwer und würzig. Holz, Melasse, Lakritz, Karamell + Malz. Insgesamt ziemlich trocken. Fruchtige Noten sind nur dezent vorhanden. Gefällt mir gut und erinnert an die Abfüllung für Bar1802.
Gefällt mir sehr gut! Viel Melasse, Holz, Aprikose, Pflaume, Tabak, Holz, schöne Ausgewogenheit.
Schöner Diamond im mittleren Alter. Ordentlich Fass, dunkle rote Früchte (vor allem in der Nase) und eine Spur Melasse erzeugen einen insgesamt eher bitteren Eindruck, der sich aber gut in die restliche Aromatik einbindet und somit nicht stört, sondern einen Rum liefert, der mich an die (gemäßigten) KFMs erinnert. Natürlich ist dieser Diamond eine andere Hausnummer, aber für sich genommen trotzdem ein guter Rum!
