"#4961 30.08.2024-01.09.2024 Had a great time both before and after the event. Friday was opening party on a boat with Dirk and Saturday and Sunday meeting up with new and old friends Nose Light wood, light roasted, fruity, faint nutts, light chocolate, faint medicinal, light citrus, spice. Palate Balanced, fruity, light wood, faint smoke, light coconut, light chocolate, faint nougat, light banana, spice. Finish Medium long, balanced, light roasted wood, fruits, light citrus, faint chocolate, faint medicinal."
"Fair evaluation 13th GRF. Solid Foursquare!"
"Foursquare? Really ? That's really unexpected. Nose is fruity, no coco/chocolate, I do like it Mouth : It s bitter, not round as the usual foursquare, vegetal, mots of orange peel, Christmas punch, gingerbread, green apple. Blind I'd have go for Beenleigh crossing a Pyrat rum (for the super strong orange flavour)"
"Blindly, I wouldn't have found Foursquare. I really like the nose: floral, honey and a little leather. You can tell it's going to be dry and not pastry-like. Here, very, very little coconut-vanilla. The palate follows the nose, with a light caramel note appearing on the finish, while remaining dry with a slight bitterness. I think it's a nice, interesting profile, but it's true that on Foursquare, I prefer fat and coconut. Compared to Swell Versus, it's a whole new world. It's sure to win over anyone who thinks Foursquare is all the same...."
