The "Venezuela" was produced in Venezuela at the C.A.D.C distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2005 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 14 years. The rum has an ABV of 43%. Really nice notes of turmeric, mango & vanilla. Has a bit of mango lassi and apricot compote with turmeric and vanilla, plus intense notes of dark chocolate and cappuccino in the finish and turmeric again! Very tasty easy sipper!
Nach Ewigkeiten durch Zufall in den Tiefen meines Schrankes wieder gefunden. Pur ist er nicht schlecht, aber es fehlt der gewisse Wumms. Nehme ich rein zum Mixen für zwischendurch, dafür gefällt er mir sehr gut. Easy Sipping RumCola, sehr süffig.

Ein echter Easy Sipper, der vor allem im Geschmack seine Stärken hat. Da gefiel er mir am Besten, da zeigte sich das typische Geschmacksprofil, dass ich von Rums aus Venezuela kenne und auch schätze. Im Geruch bekommt er Abzüge in der B-Note, ich hätte mir etwas mehr Intensität gewüscht.
