Surprisingly fruity, fresh enmore! Very unusual, almost Spanish in style! Raspberry, mint, orange peel, glue and plum on the nose, less wood than expected. then fig, light coconut, raisin and wood and grapefruit on the palate. in the finish the raspberry comes back with mint, grapefruit peel, bitter orange, tannins and black tea notes. plus slightly charred barrel notes and really balanced! one of the best enmores so far! You could almost blind pack it with foursquare or Antigua... Really cool stuff... I think it's fantastic. Absolutely underrated!
Excellent Demerara rum that sails in the slipstream of its big brothers from Velier. Here too: complete tropical maturation, wonderful sweetness, elegant fruit aromas, wood and spice. Excellent integration of the alcohol. Very round, drinkable - a top representative of the EHP Marques.
Excellent rum, priced lower than the Skeldon El Dorado making it more affordable for me.More toasty than the Skeldon, but perhaps slightly less balanced. Finish, again, below expectations.
A beautiful tropical ripened demerara to enjoy. Heady nose with lots of stickiness, you can smell an entire evening on this. Great warm feeling in the mouth. My favorites from the Rare Collection: Diamond, Albion and then this Enmore.
