Rather restrained compared to the other two bottlings. Sweetened ginger sticks and a pleasant coconut note.
This Barbados rum with a Mizunara finish is the best of the new Wagemut line. Very round and balanced and a fine taste with subtle fruitiness, spice and young wood. The alcohol is perfectly integrated.
Am Gaumen merkt man schon durch die zähflüssige Konsistenz einen wahrscheinlich hohen Zuckeranteil. Insgesamt sehr rund, angenehm, sehr süß, etwas wenig Geschmack, etwas bitteres Holz, Walnuss und Alkohol, kurzer Abgang. Zur Zigarre sicher passend.
Für mich etwas neues. Leicht und spritzig, es riecht nach Frühling, nach Äpfel und Birnen, nach frischem Holz und etwas Ingwer. Und das ganz alleine vom japanischen Mizunara Fass. Im Mund zuerst der Apfel, dann Birne und Ingwer. Zuletzt Vanille und Kokosnuss vom Barbados Rum. Einfach lecker.
