The "2000" was produced in Jamaica at the Long Pond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Silver Seal. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 50%. Another really nice release. Once rested the nose is fresh and well rounded with fruit. I like the light floral note. The palate is dry and well balanced and takes off where the nose ends and the finish is really nice and dry. The empty glass is really nice after a few hours.
Typischer Long Pond, der eher auf der trocken- adstringierenden Seite ist.
