"8:The nose of this Barbados rum is all balance and sweetness. Coconut enters first, followed by the tobacco of a mild cigar. There's thickness. One thinks of a butterscotch or a vanilla crème brûlée. The coconut is always at the fore front, mixed with vanilla and caramel, slightly warmed and lightly toasted. A hint of mango pulp initiates a smooth mid-palate, with full-bodied tobacco and butterscotch. The rum is full-bodied and never alcoholic, Nose=palate, with added peaches, orange peel and prunes. 7,5:The finish melts like butter. A caramelized woodiness remain, with dried fruits, a sign of fine maturity, it comes a bit dry."
