Ein Rum was Man nicht schnell vergessen wird .Beeindruckend
Letzter der drei probierten „Aficionado“ und ich muss leider insgesamt sagen: nein, Niko, geschmacklich kein geiler Scheiß! Nase: volles Volumen, vollmundig, viel alter Brandy. Dazu verschiedene süße, getrocknete Früchte, hauptsächlich Dörrpflaume und Rosine, dazu getrocknete Datteln und Aprikosen. Unter allem liegt eine schwere Süße von Ahorn- und Melassesirup. Insgesamt nicht unangenehmen. 7,2 Gaumen: und schon wieder nur Zucker. Wahnsinnig süß mit Dörrpflaume und getrockneter, klebriger Dattel. Das war’s, weder der Trinidad-Rum noch das Walnussfass bekommen einer Chance. Nur etwas für Süßrumtrinker und Kröger-Fans. 2,0
Der Maduro ist kräftig süß, hat jedoch auch alkoholischen Punch, ist also kein absolutes Leichtgewicht. Das passt zur Idee, ihn mit einer Zigarre zu pairen. Schließlich braucht man da etwas, dass der Zigarre etwas entgegensetzen kann, aber auch gut mit ihr harmoniert – hier helfen die kräftige Süße und die dominanten Rosinen-Aromen.
Auf dem 13. GRF probiert und der absolute Tiefpunkt des Tages. Konnte mich kaum darauf konzentrieren da er fast schon ekelig war. Vielleicht war die Konkurrenz an dem Tag einfach zu hart aber ich habe hier nur ein Aromen Brei wahrgenommen der hart in die sehr süße, cremig, süffige Richtung geht. Wollte es einfach schnell beenden. Absolut spannend wie Fässer den Rum beeinflussen und auch vernichten können. Da bleibt ich lieber bei den Fass Experimenten von Artesano.
