How does this rum taste?
Créole Shrubb offers vibrant orange flavors with a balance of sweetness and complexity. Ideal in cocktails, its distinct aroma and taste can elevate blends.
Créole Shrubb is a rum liqueur crafted from Rhum Agricole at the Clément distillery in Martinique, distilled from sugar cane juice using a column still. This rum features a vibrant orange-centric profile, complemented by notes of orange peel, sugar, and a wine-like fruitiness. Renowned for its use in cocktails like the Mai Tai, it offers a complex blend of sweet and bitter orange flavors, with additional hints of creaminess and syrup. While appreciated for its unique taste and aroma, some find its sweetness overpowering for neat sipping but ideal for enhancing cocktails.

"Fierce. Tastes one-to-one like an orange refreshment stick. Very intense orange flavor and very sweet. Not my taste. You can certainly use it to enhance cocktails but not mine on its own." - 2.5/10

"Wow incredible, elevate your Mai Tai & Margarita or drink it straight on ice or with a tonic. Really interesting taste, the aged agricole blend brings complexity to the orange liqueur I love it" - 8.0/10

"Obviously not to be enjoyed straight. Maybe as a shot in place of a lemon drop perhaps. I bought this to use in place of my dry curaçao for Mai Tais and it’s a better alternative for that in my opinion as I prefer higher proof rums in them." - 7.1/10
