How does this rum taste?
- Great for cocktails
- Complex orange flavors
- Versatile mixology use
The Créole Shrubb from the Clément distillery in Martinique is a unique rum crafted from sugar cane juice, distilled with a column still, and offering an ABV of 40%. It is renowned for its pronounced orange scent and flavor, complemented by notes of allspice and sugar. The rum is highly embraced for its complexity when used in cocktails like a Mai Tai or Margarita, and it's considered a more flavorful substitute for traditional orange liqueurs. Some users find the bold orange and sweetness overwhelming, suggesting it is more suited for mixology than sipping straight.

"Rhum suce orange. Pas trop de style, déguste en magasin rapidos."

"Fierce. Tastes one-to-one like an orange refreshment stick. Very intense orange flavor and very sweet. Not my taste. You can certainly use it to enhance cocktails but not mine on its own."

"Wow incredible, elevate your Mai Tai & Margarita or drink it straight on ice or with a tonic. Really interesting taste, the aged agricole blend brings complexity to the orange liqueur I love it"

"Obviously not to be enjoyed straight. Maybe as a shot in place of a lemon drop perhaps. I bought this to use in place of my dry curaçao for Mai Tais and it’s a better alternative for that in my opinion as I prefer higher proof rums in them."
