The concept of this rum was cool and the bottle is beautiful. That said this is more gimmick than anything For all the work and the once in a lifetime opportunity to do something really cool, why oh why did they not choose something more premium? And I would even go as far as to say that it would be ideal to have a sample of what went to sea to compare against. End of day, this is a very mediocre rum and not even time at sea and a thick gimmick can elevate the product itself.
