Rum Nation - 2017 - Jamaica Single Cask PX Whisky Cask - 58.32% Italian oenologist Fabio Rossi launched the Rum Nation range in 1999. This 2017 vintage was aged in a sherry cask that had previously contained single malt from the Macduff distillery, creating an incessant bridge between Jamaica and Scotland. At once original and faithful to its heritage, it offers an aromatic and taste palette of dazzling freshness. Throughout the tasting, it oscillates between fruity, medicinal and empyreumatic notes, playing on a fascinating duality of expression. Nose: Rich, deep, medicinal. Palate: Lively and ample, with exotic accents (banana, pineapple). Finish: Long and balanced, with complexity and a herbaceous aftertaste.
