A rum tasted at Rhum Fest in 2024. A full nose, with lime and vegetal notes (sugarcane). Warm and savory on the palate. The finish is rather short with a vegetal and lime side. A good rum, rather special but very good.
#4794 24.07.2024 Sampling a bit at home while watching Band of Brothers. Nose Fresh, fruity, citrus, light sugarcane, light vegetal, faint floral. Palate Oily, fresh, balanced, fruity, light citrus, vegetal, medium spicy, light floral, light sugarcane. . Finish Medium to long, oily, round, light vegetal, citrus, light sugarcane. The empty glass has nice floral notes as well as light chocolate.
I didn't take long notes, but I did order the bottle, so I can come back to it. In any case, I loved this blend from a single house enhanced with a little brut de colonne: ultra gourmand but with punch, it's fruity but biting. I loved it! A concentrated ti punch with no need for additions!
