How does this rum taste?
- Intense tropical aromas
- Complex flavor profile
- Exclusive limited edition
The Zodiac Taureau is a limited-edition rum that masterfully combines vibrant tropical fruit aromas—like pineapple, banana, and esters—with woody, peppery, and red fruit flavors. Crafted by Famille Ricci at Multi Distilleries using a blend of Pot and Column still techniques, its 10-16 years of aging creates an intriguing interplay of Jamaican-heavy (HD) and TDL profile markers. Our community appreciates the complexity, noting hints of herbal intensity, light gasoline, and a finish touched by smoke and wood. Although some reviews mention a few astringent or unintegrated notes, the overall experience is robust and uniquely appealing, making it a fascinating choice for passionate rum collectors.

"Notes taken during the Rhum Fest 2024, Quick notes and a bit heavy palate, sorry :) What we have here: an explosion on the palate, with Jamaica very much in evidence. A rum: ultra fruity once again with some Jamaican markers Finish: quite long, but a little warm in my memory. Sample a commander pour re tester ça au calme... excellent in any case I understand the quick sell out!"
"I have also received this one, so it's the second tasting of the day. The nose gives recognizable jamaican notes with a bunch of tropical fruits and esters, along with light tones of gasoline, wax and wood. Palate is fruity too, still with light gasoline notes, but also iodine and bitterness. Alcool is very well integrated, I would have expected it to bien more. Finish is long, with the fruits notes and bitterness remaining, accompanied by some smoke and wood. It's a good rum !"
