Tasted this rum during my recent visit to the distillery. This vintage 2022 has as all their unaged rum rested for several months in vats and slowly been reduced, in this case to 45% before bottled in just 2500 bottles. Unfortunately I’ve lost my notes from my tasting but some I remember. The nose has very intense aromas and is fruity, floral and spicy. At the palate and during the long finish the aromas persists as flavors. Right now it doesn’t seems to be for sale in the EU, but hopefully it will arrive later.
