Oliver & Oliver Ron Quorhum 30 Aniversario
Fans love the rich chocolate, coffee and long finish. Critics find it very sweet, somewhat one-dimensional and question value/“30 years” marketing. Consensus: tasty, comfy sipper if you like sweet woodiness.
Those who enjoy sweet, Spanish-style rums and want to try a fuller, 50% ABV sipper with lots of caramel, chocolate, coffee and wood without harsh alcohol burn.

How does this rum taste?
Sweet, woody comfort at 50% ABV
If you like sweet, woody Dominican or Panamanian-style rums and are curious about a bit more strength and depth than the usual 40%, this is a comfortable next step.
Drinkers who dislike added sweetness, expect very dry/complex age-statement rums, or are put off by marketing that suggests a true 30-year age.

This is an amazing rum and a pleasant surprise. Compared to the younger 23 year version this one is far more mature and well rounded. The price tag is way below the quality of this rum so go get one.
The nose is interesting with molasses, chocolate, tobacco, leather and some wood. The palate is sweet with caramel, coffee, raisins and bourbon but at the same time has dry notes of leather, wood, tobacco and still more smoky and slightly peppery notes in the background, overall it is full-bodied, round and with a fairly persistent finish. Deeper and more complex than the 40° version where the smoky and dry notes are missing. Really good value for money. In the empty smoked glass. Thanks to W00tan for the opportunity
What is in the smell, you will also find in the taste. In terms of texture and strength, the aroma and taste are perfectly balanced, so the flavors are also highly concentrated, which is great. Cedar wood, leather and chocolate dominate. Licorice, bittersweet, a hint of acid in the aftertaste 👍😁
Très bon rhum ,prix autour des 70 euros. Mais qui a ce mérite de nous faire connaître de nouveau horizon avec un goût des plus surprenant et une couleur dans le verre des plus agréables.
