"7,7:On the nose, of course, sugar cane is very strong, but juicy and tasty, we quickly notice brine and some olive, agricole spicy and smoky, as it is a bit roasted and gently metallic, becomes slightly pastry, with sweet spices and honeyed. As we air it a bit dried banana, almost candied like banana marshmallow surprises us, it is a bit mineral now and floral, as flowery and gently woody. 7,5:On the palate, the attack is soft and juicy with sugar cane, we find similar notes as on the nose, as with roasted wood, with some vegetal-olive, brine, spiciness, very agricole characteristics are present, is smoky and mineral, dried banana with slight pastry and honey note continue here also, as becomes a bit dry after a while and a touch of astringency, iodine and flowery. 7,2:The finish is medium length, with sugar cane, dry, a bit woody, still mineral, slightly fruity..."

"#4890 Whisky Live in Paris 27.09.2024-30.09.2024. Another great event meeting a lot of RumX new and old friends. This year three weren't as many new releases as in 2023, but I still had a great time. Nose Light wood, fresh, faint cherry, light spice, sugarcane, faint grass. Palate Round, light oily, fresh, light wood, spice, faint cherry, light raisin, light sugarcane, faint chocolate. Finish Medium long, light wood, berries, faint chocolate, faint roasted, faint cherry. Not a bad release but it could have used a longer period in the cask."
