A rum tasted at Rhum Fest in 2024. A nose of solvents and pastries with baked tropical fruit, prunes and leather. Alas, the palate is not as complex as the nose, with candy sugar and fruit. The finish is long and elegant, with fruit, spices and a hint of cocoa.
The nose is enveloping and quite rich with burnt sugar, plums, leather, solvents and light wood. The palate is very delicate, but at the same time heavy with spices, pepper, in the finish molasses sweetness, cocoa, coffee.
