Ich verstehe überhaupt nicht, warum dieser Rum hier so wenig Beachtung findet. Für mich ist das ein wunderbar ausgewogener Foursquare, sehr samtig mit viel Kokos unglaublich rund. Tolle Abfüllung von Schotman! Wenn nur der sehr ambitionierte Preis nicht wäre...
Well, that was good. No alcohol, wonderfully smooth taste of coconut, caramel, milk chocolate vanilla. I didn't expect it at all and I'm really pleasantly surprised how interestingly smooth the Schotmans managed to fill the cask!t
Blind verkostet mit einigen anderen Foursquare Abfüllungen. In Summe für mich der rundeste Foursquare mit dem klassischen Profil und einer ausgeprägten Kokosnuss Note. Am Gaumen eine leicht florale Note, die ich besonders bei den 2005er Abfüllungen wahrnehme. Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden.
Discovered this rum during a tasting at rum depot in Berlin. Pleasant surprise. I tasted the 19 and 17 simultaneously. This is a very good rum. Fantastic balanced taste. I do prefer the 17 over the 19. Due to that the alcohol seems better integrated in the 17.
