👃 The nose is loaded with flowers accompanied by vegetal notes and a little fruit like banana and lychee. The slight minerality must be brought about by resting in clay amphora. . 👄 The palate confirms the nose, with good alcohol and a long finish.
A rather floral agricole. Not really my taste.
Sympa, la canne sans disparaître complètement, s'efface un peu pour laisser place au fruité, ce qui lui donne des aires d'eau de vie de framboise. Par la suite le pamplemousse fait son apparition avec sa légère amertume. L'amphore lui donne clairement un côté minérale et plus de rondeur mais le poivre du manao classique reste présent.
Ce fameux Mana'o vieilli 18 mois dans des amphores ! je l'ai depuis 6 mois à la maison, fermé, et la il me tendant les bras.. impossible de résister. Un nez un peu fermé et décevant, mais en bouche c'est du petit lait. Un profil définitivement herbacé, végéral, relevé d'anis et de poivre en fin de bouche. J'y reviendrai en détail lorsque ma bouteille sera ouverte.
