The "Trinidad" was produced in Trinidad at the T.D.L distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Silver Seal. It was distilled in 2000 from Molasses and then aged for 18 years. Pleasant rum. Presence of sweetness, which makes it very round. At the end it lacks some depth of flavor.
Had high expectations for this one but I got a bit disappointed. Kind of light and alcoholic at the same time. In a few words not that well balanced.
Wenig Geschmack, flach, Alkoholisch, langweiliger spanischer Stil. Kein Vergleich zu den spannenden TDL-Jahrgängen von 2001-2003!
