The Montebello Basseterre was produced in Guadeloupe at the Carrere distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Velier. It was distilled in 1995 from Molasses and sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 12 years. The rum has an ABV of 58.2%.
