“The nose is warm with caramel on ripe tropical fruit, varnish and marzipan. On the palate, the alcohol stings a little and the aromas struggle to emerge, remaining too fine. A slightly disappointing rum, as the alcohol is not very well integrated and the aromas are ghostly. Especially in direct comparison with other magnificent rums (RX566 - RX9232).”

“What a lovely and intense rum. Velier really knows how to finish their rums. Very fresh and spicy with fruit, spices, caramel and tobacco and fruit. The caramel is very clear without being too dominant. I think I got a hint of smoky wood there as well.”
