"Has my recommendation, it’s really great, but I have choose the XO for my rumbar from Neisson. Tasted this one out at the Baltic Sea at an Masterclass during a rum cruise with Birka Cruises. Lots of wood, vanilla and fruitiness in it."

"A Neisson classic. The nose opens with woody, spicy and earthy notes, accompanied by sugar cane, lemon and honey. The mouth continues on this nice roundness with a vegetal touch. The finish on the other hand is rather short. In spite of a pronounced sweetness and a rather high price positioning for a VO, this rum is still appreciable."

"This one was a huge surprise. The price tag on this bottle is very good considering what you get. Super high quality at a very good price. The nose is very well balanced between wood and fruit which is trailed by vanilla, nuts and a hint of honey. The palate is complex and balanced with wood, wood tannins and fruit trailed by vanilla and sugarcane. The finish is medium long with wood, fruits and vanilla with a hint of nuts. A very good buy indeed!"

"Schöner Rum von Neisson. In der Nase hat man überwiegend Holz, etwas Vanille ist auch erkennbar. Am Gazmen ist das Holz-/Vanilleverhältnis dann etwas ausgeglichener. Außerdem ist er am Gaumen noch recht würzig."
