How does this rum taste?
- Complex fruity notes
- Balanced alcohol level
- Pleasant floral aroma
The Compagnie des Indes Fiji 2004 is a limited edition rum with only 289 bottles, distilled at South Pacific Distillery. Aged for 10 years with an ABV of 44%, this rum is celebrated for its complex fruity and tropical notes, with hints of sweetness from raisins and caramel. Although not typically characteristic of Fijian rums, it has a profile that includes woody, spicy, and nutty undertones. Most find its overall aroma and taste pleasing, with floral and spicy elements, though some note a less pronounced regional identity and a somewhat underwhelming finish for their expectations.
