Killik Single Origin Rum Australia <KLK>
This is a rum you remember: huge strawberry and creamy, lactic notes dominate both nose and palate, with echoes of high-ester Savannas. One to try if you enjoy bold fruit and dessert vibes.
Strawberry yoghurt funk, creamy, playful, surprisingly well-integrated.

How does this rum taste?
- Strawberry yoghurt galore
- Alcohol very well integrated
- Super strawberry cheesecake taste
Killik's Single Origin Rum Australia from 1423 World Class Spirits makes a bold first impression: "strawberry yoghurt galore" (@Rum man) and creamy, candy-like notes leap from the glass. Again and again, RumX members highlight its strawberry, yogurty aroma, and rich creaminess—often comparing it to Savanna HERR, with one calling it a "Savanna HERR light" (@Zucker und Zeste). The ester profile delivers a playful funk, while a lactic, slightly tart note draws comparisons to strawberry cheesecake. For some, it's a true curiosity: “Mon OVNI du Rhum Fest Paris 2025 – yaourt à la fraise” (@Vincent D).

"This was one of the highlights for me at the 13. GRF!! Unknown australian distillery, white rum with perfect integration of alcohol and a remarkable taste of strawberry, yoghurt (reminds me on Yoghurette), ester, caramel! I wish to post now the meme of McMahon 😜 Very cool :3 It will make a delicious daiquiri😬"
"Wow, what's that? Fermented fruit such as strawberries and plums, but also fruit from the orchard and a strong creaminess reminiscent of yoghurt with fruit. The acidity even builds noticeably over the next few moments. Behind this, lemon peel and a subtle herbaceousness emerge. Fermented strawberries, a few herbs and then metallic aromas on the palate. The acidity of the nose is less noticeable on the palate, but there is a nice creamy/oily mouthfeel. Tastes like a Savanna HERR light. The next day you can clearly smell the fermented aromas in the glass."
"The first rum I tried at the 13th GRF (Opening Party), and it was a hit! I'll just say: savanna galore. At least that's what you think when you first smell it. Alcohol very well integrated. Great light rum from an Australian distillery I've never heard of before for relatively little money. A real Savanna would be at least twice as expensive."
"To be honest, I would never have thought of Australia blind. At first I immediately had an association with the Lord. For the price, I think it's a nobrainer that I'll definitely buy a bottle or two of to make daiquiris with."
