A very pleasant and fruit-forward Barbadian rum with dominant tropical fruits and woody tones. The nose is rich with dried fruits, honey, and tropical notes, while the palate balances citrus, apricot, and spice with a subtle bitterness. The finish is medium-length, with cocoa and oak lingering nicely. A great surprise for me, though I can’t help but wish for a higher ABV than 47. This rum has huge potential, and I’d love to taste it at full strength.
The tail is so much for wine
Interesting 47% Barbados - unique pure column still. It is more like Panama or Dominican. Interesting, soft, sweet, not violent. Thanks to the interesting box, it can be a nice gift. Unfortunately, out of price range.
