Ich bin immer wieder überrascht wie gut mir der australische Rum schmeckt. Rostige und süße Aromen in der Nase wie am Gaumen. Der Alkohol könnte etwas besser eingebunden sein, grade weil es nur 54% sind. Trotzdem empfehlenswert.
This is with no doubt a well made rum, it's just nothing too complex. If you're looking for an easy sipper with slightly higher ABV (54%), then this might be a good choice for you. Yeah, it tastes good, yeah, it has nice intensity of flavours, yeah, the Oloroso does its job. But for me to rate it higher, it would have to be a little more complex.

Palate Fresh, light roasted wood, fruity, citrus, orange, light nutts, naturally sweet, spices. Finish Medium long, wood, medium dry, light nutts, faint caramel, light orange.
Tasty Beenleigh. Lots of (Oloroso) cask but the spirit carries it fine. Easy sipper.
